Easton 46/30 Chainrings

Hi –

I am considering a Traildonkey 3 but want to run the Easton EC 90 crank w/ power meter and 46/30 chainrings. Any issues with this setup?

Answer

Hi Mason. We have a new front derailleur mount arriving the third week of Nov ’19 which will allow running those smaller 46/30 chainrings. The original design mount was designed before micro compact rings had hit the market but does work with 32/48 micro compact.

Spork Flat brake adaptor F160

I ordered a set of brake adaptors recently thinking that they would work for both the front and the rear. The spacing on the Spork is much wider. What adaptor will I need to mount Flat mount brakes?

Tire Clearance

Top question, how is clearance with a 33mm tires on a 21ish rim? Yes I’m totally asking about cyclocross-ability. I’m looking for good options at running a rad single speed build that doesn’t require an eccentric bottom bracket. The sliding dropouts look boss. Thanks folks

Howdy! You will have excellent clearance with 33mm tires on a 21ish rim. The opening is approx 55mm depending on slider position so you are looking at about 10mm of clearance on each side of the tire.

When will the 4.1 be available in the pinecone color in size 56cm

Hi Lloyd.

56 Pine Cone will be out of stock for the rest of the year. We do have the two other colors in stock. We only produce one run of Flaanimals per year and when they’re gone they’re gone for a long time unfortunately.
