Hi there,
My brother let me borrow his Flaanimal to ride Unbound (fun story, it was featured on your Instagram!) this year. With all the mud it’s gotten a few little scratches on the steel portion of the bike. I’m wondering if there’s any touch-up paint that perhaps either you have to sell, or would recommend? I’m thinking both type of paint and color. The scratched bits are black and the bike is not custom finished. And while I’ve got ya, the Rodeo Labs lettering is beginning to flake off, is it possible to order some new decals? Thanks so much!

Sean,
Congrats on riding Unbound. This year looked like an absolute doozy.
The main thing you want to do with scratches is to clean them and cover them before corrosion sets in. You’ll want to clean the area very with with something like Isopropyl alcohol. If you see any rust has formed, you would want to clean the area even more with a red scotchbrite pad to get the rust off. After that, a Rust-O-leum paint and primer in black would cover the area well. Consider masking just the area that you want to cover with painters tape so that the overspray doesn’t hit the rest of the frame and the repair looks tidy.
