Inspired by the 1971 • The Porsche 917/20 ‘Pink Pig’ racecar, The TD4 TrailPig Homage takes one of the most iconic race car liveries of all time, and applies it to another animal that you might find in a farm yard alongside a pink pig, a Donkey.

Our painter Brad created this expert rendition in bicycle form with hand-laid, masked, and painted graphics, with part and technical aspects of the frame rendered in the same typeface as the original car. Worried about the translation accuracy? You should be, we are too, but if we got anything wrong, just remember that bikes are supposed to be fun. As with actual race cars, the Pink Pig TD4 has it’s race numbers applied in vinyl, not paint, because race numbers can be changed. If you adopt this pig and would like custom numbers applied, just ask!

The build spec on this bike is proper racecar as well. We very rarely do AXS ready-to-roll builds, but on this one we knew that we needed to continue the theme with components that were high end and raceable, so Zipp and Ritchey WCS components were used for the cockpit and controls. A Repente Quasar hand made saddle is also suitably European and very comfortable when doing hot laps of LeMans, or just your local dirt roads. Rival AXS XPLR drivetrain bits give you the beauty of wireless shifting, and the closer gear ratios best suited for zipping down straightaways. A Praxis carbon crankset with 4iiii power meter allow you to measure your horespower output with the precision of an F1 team.

The wheel spec is our race ready, lightweight, and ultra durable Rodeo 3.0X wheelset, shod in piggly-fat but very fast Schwalbe G-One Speed tires – giving the bike extra compliance when run at lower pressures.

A 52cm TD4 will fit a rider between 5’3″ (160cm) and 5’6″ (167cm)
