Cheers to @gabriel0rtiz with the new Pana Cycles Esperanza that took home silver in people’s choice at @phillybikeexpo this year! It’s a honor to be a small part of this build, and the Spork logo send up is amongst the best we’ve seen. Keep an eye on Gabriel, he’s making moves and creating a fresh story in cycling!

Ad Astra per Aspera. The first TD4.2 delivery is going to Kansas, which to many, is the home of gravel. This beautiful custom commission blue, white, and radiant gold design reflects the state flag of Kansas, and goes to Paul by way of @bicyclepedaler, themselves an anchor of the Kansas cycling scene.
Happy #newbikeday Taylor!

Our much loved Flaanimal steel bike platform began development 10 years ago, in 2015 with the 1.0 frameset. Never sold publicly, the 1.0 was offered to Rodeo team members on a testing basis. We collected feedback on ride and function from those initial bikes and iterated non-stop from that first version to where we are today with 5.0.
In the early days of Rodeo we were already deep into our love affair with color. The 1.0 prototype paint design was not only distinctive and unique, but also challenged our idealism about how important color was, because as it turns out, painting a frame with four colors is expensive! With those early frames, the paint cost half as much as the bare frames themselves did. As such, this iconic color scheme didn’t make it into wide production because it would have increased the cost of the bike significantly.
Cut to 2025, 10 years later. We recently added a 1.0 frame to our our archives thanks to a generous original owner who donated it. While reviewing it, someone suggested that we create a tribute 5.0 frame with the exact 1.0 livery. We got to work on it immediately, and we’re so glad we did! As soon as the paint had cured, we were reminded afresh just how good this bike looks. The result is this one of a kind 5.0 frameset that is on offer now as a Ready To Roll Rodeo. One rider out there can scoop up this beautiful re-creation, faithful down to the original red seatpost and original Rodeo rim decals. We kitted this bike out with a time-proven Sram Apex groupset, which features excellent braking, ergonomics, and versatile 1×11 gear system. The rest of the build is a premium mix of Rodeo 3.0X carbon wheels, Ritchey components, an eeSilk custom painted suspension seatpost, 45mm Vittoria Mezcal tires, and a handmade Italian Selle Repente ultralight saddle.

When special requests are made, we’re super excited to oblige. Chris asked for a dream spec set of our 3.0X rims to be laced with @berdspokes Polylight spokes to a @sonnabendynamo dynamo front hub and a @chriskingbuzz rear.
We’ve really upped our Berd lacing game recently, with a streamlined Berd insert prepping process so that the spokes go in efficiently and perfectly every time.
On this wheelset, the spokes are black save two parallel white spokes on either side of the valve, for a dash of panache.
We’re convinced that our 3.0X rims are amongst the most robust carbon rims on the market, with zero rim failures in over two years, across all rims manufactured.

Here are 10 unstaged, uncurated, un-unadorned Rodeos, laying around after a hard day’s ride, and before another day’s hard ride. Not a single garage king or queen among them, as intended.

It’s DealTime™️! In March 2020, right when Covid hit and we were all sitting around wondering what the world was going to look like in the coming years, Rodeo decided to put some of that spare time to use with creative bike paint explorations that would hopefully surprise and entertain people.
Staying creative seemed more productive than feeling paralyzed by doom.
One of the bikes that we mocked up digitally was an exuberant homage to Spongebob Squarepants, and more specifically Patrick Star, which we dubbed the SpongeDonkey. The mockup made a bunch of people smile, and we had a ton of fun with it, and that was that. Recently, we got to talking about paint designs that we still wanted to do, and SpongeDonkey came back up
Five years later, this seemed like the time to make the bike real. We dusted off the mockups and adapted the design from the original TD3 to the TD4.
Adam, one of our fine artists in the paint department, go to work adding a bit more flare and detail, then painstakingly brought the design to life through countless hours of hand masking and detail work.
The end result is the bike you see here today, and once again, SpongeDonkey is making everyone at the office smile. We hope it does the same for you!
In order to bring the frameset to life as a complete bike, Chef Coco continued the flare with an integrated FSA cockpit for a clean, uncluttered look with maximum ergonomics. For tires, he sourced the retina searing and perfectly matching 45mm Gravel King SS tires, themselves mounted on our race proven Rodeo 3.0X carbon wheelset. Shifting duties are flawlessly handled by Sram Rival AXS shiftes tied to a GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur and 10-52 cassette. SpongeDonkey can go anywhere you are crazy enough to take it!

OUR VALUES
RIDE
Our bikes as hard as we can. Never lose touch with the fact that true inspiration for everything we do comes from time spent in the saddle.
EXPLORE
If we stay where things are familiar we will quickly grow stale. To stay challenged we always seek out the new. New paces to ride, new goals to attempt, and new people to collaborate with.
CREATE
When we return home from our adventures we take our experiences and turn them into things that we can share. Stories, photos, videos, and inspired products are the fruit of our labor.
