Flaanimal 5 // 52cm // Apex 1×12 // Black and White

During a quality control inspection, we found a Flaanimal 5.0 frame with a weld that wasn’t up to our standards. Not a problem though, we blasted the weld back down to bare metal and our very own Pancho re-brazed the connection beautifully. With that area of the frame needing fresh paint, the crew saw an opportunity to create a Dealtime build and ran with it. The mended area was re-sprayed with a classy white, and the motif of the bike also became a black and white affair.

Chef Coco selected the capable and durable workhorse Sram Apex 1×12 mullet for the drivetrain. To that he added our Rodeo 2.0 carbon wheels, Maxxis Ikon treads, FSA K-Wing handlebar, and Ritchey bar / stem.

This bike is the perfect platform on which to undertake loaded bikepacking adventures, gravel roads, or rugged terrain. It is fully covered by our standard factory warranty the same as every other bike we sell. A 52cm Flaanimal will best fit a rider between 5’4”-5’6” or 162 to 168cm.

The 650b wheels and tires on this bike fit well proportionally to the frame and rider size, and lower stand over height nicely.
